A few days old, but a decent shot of one of the regular crowbros on my walk, who waits on that sign every morning. Zoom in for some
cool details.

My new vlog is UP ✨ I need everyone and their mother to go watch this, share it etc because I am about to lose monetisation on my account thanks to me taking a break to deal with my dad's death.

Thank you so much 💖

Just found this old thing about what it feels like to do character commissions and I think the point still stands

...I don't miss my old haircut for many reasons but it sure was easy to recognizably cartoon

Anyways don’t forget that you can cancel your amazon prime accounts and complain loudly and often to let them know you aren’t interested in watching shows made with ai tools

dialed.gg has been going around and I'm curious now, what's your strategy? I have a terrible visual memory so I'm like calculating the HSB in my head and remembering that instead, and now I wonder if that's the normal strat or if other people can actually hold a colour image in their head

ayy james was my desk neighbour in the 4th year illustration room way way back in the day and it seems that he's still out here killing it (somewhere other than bsky)
I got to read a copy of @fearlessfred.bsky.social & James Edward Clark's FLORIDA HIPPOPOTAMUS COCAINE MASSACRE from @madcavestudios.com. When I say the name of the book is the least wild thing about it, that should be all you need to know. Pure chaos in the best way. Grab #1 today.

FWIW there are 23 years between those two. There's plenty of inspo for improving fast these days; there are artists younger than that first picture who can absolutely kick my ass. But if you struggle, remember that forward movement is still movement and the destination's getting closer regardless.

This is Mr. Horsy.

Mr. Horsy is not just a badly-drawn horse. He's that feeling artists get when we have to draw a horse, and we're trying to remember how their parts fit together.
