A lone sleigh and reindeer travel through the endless Northern winter night. Gorgeous print by indigenous Sami artist Britta Marakatt-Labba. The traveller is watched over by 3 Sami goddesses (right) whose red horned headdresses had them 'banned' by Christian Swedes. Modern Sami are reclaiming them.

the only advice I'll give to people about how to "make it" is that you need something to show people if the opportunity comes. it doesn't matter if no one on social media saw it; that's still your body of work and it's a way better portfolio than just saying "I want to someday"
