As someone who is slowly, and just "as needed" using Obsidian for notes (not some crazy repository but just like, a little notebook), the new UI changes and the Daily Note widget are amazingly helpful.
Obsidian 1.11 is now available for desktop and mobile!

may I propose that we shuffle budget from the cops to the firefighters

It's often feeling very "why bother" these days, on SM. Watered down by ai, infested by bots, full of engagement chasing rage bait, current or future surveillance of online activities that could potentially come up in a job review, border crossing or otherwise. Etc.

I have barely been posting anywhere - not here, not insta, not on my blog.
To be honest, the last year I have been trying to focus on either being with people in-person (hanging out, performing, singing) and limiting my messaging to private methods (signal group chats etc.).
