I don't need top or bottom surgery or HRT to feel like my gender. But many trans folks do. I've met trans kids who aren't allowed to and people who can't afford to, either monetarily or socially. It's hell. Don't tell people how to experience their gender identity.

It's one thing to elect not to partake in medical transition, like myself, but it's another to be told that you don't need it when, statistically speaking, the outcomes of medical transition prove to be a necessary for the betterment of transgender people.
