Doordash and the like take 25% or more from restaurants. Most restaurants have profit margins under 5%. These fees have been destroying restaurants. And why is everyone ok with the fact that tips going entirely to drivers and not to the restaurant? Driving is far easier than cooking.
Every day that passes I feel vindicated for never, not even ONCE having used Uber or anything similar. They're terrible for the economy and unsustainable without fucking over drivers, customers, and restaurants. The faster their industry dies, the better the world will be.
