Everything on the internet marked "oddly satisfying" is really just satisfying. There's nothing odd about being satisfied by, say, watching a lawn mowed perfectly or a cake iced on one of those spinning wheels or whatever.

I've been playing it a lot.
Last night I decided to attempt the 5 hour speedrun achievement.
I was 3 hours in and stopped before the High Halls gauntlet. I was feeling pretty confident so close to the end of the game.

As a Catholic it’s very bizarre to me to see the children (Evangelical, non-denom MAGA Christian Nationalists) yearn for relics, martyrs, and pilgrimage yet find it abhorrent when Catholics do it with our relics, martyrs, and pilgrims. The house is glass.

The shift from “art” to “content” really has been the tech industry’s greatest contribution to the downfall of humanity.
God I’m so relieved that we don’t have art anymore. We just have content and content distribution systems.
