We Heart Seattle is a rightwing ideological project.

They’re not doing this to help “clean up the community” any more than MAGA doofus Scott Presler is. It’s pure theater with a sinister propaganda motive.

Brian Heywood's 2 new dangerous initiatives — IL26-001/IL26-638 — threaten the safety of ALL kids, especially trans & queer students, by forcing invasive genital exams on children who want to play sports.

Decline to sign these dangerous initiatives. Take the pledge here: bit.ly/WFFDecline

Happy 20th anniversary to the Sony BMG copy protection rootkit scandal, in which the company secretly installed software to hide DRM technology on CD buyers’ PCs. XCP was a security risk that led to public outcry, class action lawsuits, and, 20 years ago today, a recall of dozens of album titles.

🔥 take: pretty confident I can point to the one passage that made THE KOLN CONCERT into the bestselling solo piano music of all time.

11:56 into Part I, when Jarrett finally shifts the A-dorian to A7 and then hits the D13 decisively to prepare G, taking it into overtly gospel-y rock/folk territory

You can change a buildings purpose. Rip out all the machines that used to live there. You can call an old factory a visitor centre, a museum, a heritage site – don't change what it was. Remove and remake all you want, you can't erase its ghosts. It stays haunted. – John Peck #VOH #Ghosts

OK, fastest book I've ever made. The HOMOCORE Anthology will be available in print, 280 pages, "soon".

Copies will be available at THE LAB (9 Dec) and Pretty Gritty on the 12th..14th. I'll be there for that (but not THE LAB). San Francisco, both.

The PDX city council public comment period on homeless camp sweeps is a microcosm of modern liberalism. We have white people in feminist T-shirts invoking the safety and innocence of children, using terms like "unhoused" while advocating for forcibly removing the most downtrodden in our society.
