We’re seeing the potential for coastal flooding today and Thursday due to what’s commonly called “King Tides” in combination with storm events. If you see a flooded road, don’t risk your it vehicle. Try a different route.

Don’t make an emergency worse for our busy first responders. #wawx

Reminder that the Cascadia Subduction Zone could go off at any minute. Please.
The Seattle Mariners season is over. One game short of reaching the elusive World Series for the first time in franchise history. And the pain inside the visitor's clubhouse was palpable.

Make sure you are 🙌SAFE🙌 at home….or at school, the office, or stadium, with your earthquake go-bag.

Head to www.shakeout.org/washington/ to register for this year's ShakeOut and to learn more about how you can be prepared when the next earthquake - ahem - strikes!

Neat first date idea: We meet under a table at 10:16am on 10/16 and casually talk about our plans if a major earthquake hits Washington.

No, this email does not find me well. I am on the trails, taking advantage of every moment of sunshine before the big dark.

The email can’t even find me at all.

🎥 POV: You’re a camera being set up to observe the next six months of rain to see if there is post-wildfire debris movement. 👀

And, baby, that's showfish business for you ✨

That's right, this (not so Swift) star might be dressed for a new era, but has been hard at work for years helping us generate millions for restoring aquatic lands all over Washington. dnr.wa.gov/aquatics/she...

Mount St. Helens was not getting attention for 5 minutes so she had to go dig up 45 year old dirt on everyone
USGS has issued a statement noting that Mount St. Helens has strong easterly–southeasterly winds in the vicinity of Mount St. Helens, which have picked up loose volcanic ash deposited during the 1980 eruptions.
