Be sure to check your kid's Halloween candy. I just found a derelict vessel damaging the Puget Sound ecosystem inside of mine.

Make sure you are 🙌SAFE🙌 at home….or at school, the office, or stadium, with your earthquake go-bag.

Head to www.shakeout.org/washington/ to register for this year's ShakeOut and to learn more about how you can be prepared when the next earthquake - ahem - strikes!

🎥 POV: You’re a camera being set up to observe the next six months of rain to see if there is post-wildfire debris movement. 👀

And, baby, that's showfish business for you ✨

That's right, this (not so Swift) star might be dressed for a new era, but has been hard at work for years helping us generate millions for restoring aquatic lands all over Washington. dnr.wa.gov/aquatics/she...

We would like to thank Taylor and Travis for showing us the only way to let Sparks Fly during wildfire season.

We’re happy this suddenly-popular fella decided to maximize his golden years after a 47-year career working outside Washington. Thankfully, our GO map can help retirees from all over the world find some of our state’s most beautiful places. dnr.wa.gov/go

I don't know what to tell you all, forest is pretty dry out there

Hate to break the news to you, but this is just not how it works

Don’t blame me, Smoke Ready Week made me do it.

Thirst trap? Nah, this is a hydration hazard. 🔥

With higher temps this weekend, and 1,200 miles of DNR trails to explore on National Trails Day tomorrow, the last thing you want to do is leave your water behind and fall for the classic thirst trap.

May might be our month to be aware of our volcanoes. But the other 11 months the volcanoes will still be aware of us.

Sorry folks! Trailhead is closing. Moose out front should have told you.

Maybe we’re Volcano Month pilled, but everywhere we look we see our stunning stratovolcanoes. Even the red carpet glitz of the Met Gala had us thinking about those 10,000-foot mounds of lava.

We have always heard "If you love something, set it free", and now that includes Damon Point.

A rising tide may lift all boats, but it’s also cutting off access to this area. That makes it easy to get stranded out there, and it’s why we regrettably have closed access.
