American Science & Surplus’ Milwaukee retail location is still open (yay!), but like many smaller businesses they need people to shop the store during this holiday season.

So for industries (healthcare, finance, utilities, etc.) and geographic regions (EU, CA) with existing #privacy laws/regulations, doesn't Google feeding email and other data to AI violate those laws? (Esp. given the auto opt-in allowing user email harvesting for AI...?)

Although not thought of primarily as a children's author, Ursula K. Le Guin helped spark my love of reading. I was captivated by Ged's journey as a young adult in "A Wizard of Earthsea" and how he learned the rules of both magic and the larger world.

I'm a reader and writer who can't imagine life without books. We had a grade school teacher who read to us at the end of each day, which led me (almost immediately) to the library to find other books I could read. Writing followed when I realized I could share my own stories.
