Farage got it wrong. We don’t trade more outside the EU, we trade less.

Farmers are not better off (exports down 40%) fishermen are not better off - our whole country is not better off.

Ghislaine Maxwell has offered to exonerate Donald Trump in the Epstein case in exchange for clemency. Journalist @carolecadwalla.bsky.social notes this “naked transactionalism” mirrors Jeffrey Epstein’s own business model of running a “global trade in favors” among the rich and powerful.

No Reform UK MPs turned up for today’s debate.

Tomorrow I’ll post my full speech which focused on:

❌ Russian involvement in Brexit referendum
❌ Boris Johnson’s appointment of Lebedev
❌ Cryptocurrency in British politics
❌ Helping Brits identify misinformation on social media
Ben Goldsborough MP speaking in a debate on Russian influence on UK politics:

“It seems Reform politicians are comfortable doing the Kremlin’s dirty work for them, regardless of whether they get paid for the privilege or not.”

The full tweet is even worse given that it's a journalist, on behalf of a political party, threatening to use public funds to discipline a university because of a decision made by one of its student societies.

Traitors to NATO
This diagram is in Polish, but fairly easy to understand.

The upper section is U.S. assistance for Ukraine during the Biden and Trump admin

The lower is russian drone and missile attacks during the same time frame

Tell me more about how Trump's negotiations are working.

@irishrainforest.bsky.social has shown that trees are much better at planting trees than humans ever will be - the only exception when humans are needed to plant trees is in situations where the indigenous trees are no longer present to plant themselves

Imagine humans asking trees to deliver babies

Interestingly, one answer to Britain’s flood risk problem lies in the re introduction of Beavers, these amazing creatures create habitats that hold water, attenuate and prevent the flooding which is made worse by industrial agriculture, land drainage and of course 'concreting the countryside'…:).

I knew Matt Goodwin promoted the far right Great Replacement Theory but until @huwcdavies.bsky.social pointed it out, I didn't realise he'd actually interviewed the originator of the theory on his GB News show and plugged it like he's PT Barnum. A vote for Goodwin is a vote for white nationalism

Why indeed. I've never known a British government so in bed with zionist Israel. Its almost as if they've got something on us. (And I go back a long way)
Why are a small number of western governments and media so protective of a genocidal state? The large majority of the world isn’t.

It just doesn’t make any sense.

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.
