Okay, my follower count and mix on here is now such that I need to say this:

If you know me in real life, no you don't.

If you saw me at a place I can routinely be found, no you didn't.

Thank you for understanding.

Search your first name and then “glamour shot” And post a photo.

...I broke this game.

When they shoot a Muppet movie, do you think they have to muppet-test the actors? Like, did they sit Micheal Caine in a room and make him talk to Kermit for an hour to make sure he wouldn't crack up?

How I'm turning up to the Bluesky Christmas party.

I don't usually make food, but I was determined to make both cookies and latkes this year.

Lost a few days to migraine, but I'm still making latkes. Or else.

I jinxed myself by posting this. Stopped for gas and my fuel door was frozen closed. Got what I deserved there.
Ah, Vermont in winter. The fresh snow, the pretty lights...the giggles as everyone in the fast food drivethrough opens their doors to yell at the speaker because their car windows are frozen shut.

"Maybe if we add one more AI Sparkle Button to our interface, users will finally click it."

Buddy, I am in the process of shedding MICROSOFT over this garbage. Your whole mediocre productivity app fits much more easily in the bin.

Happy Solstice, everyone.

It gets brighter from here.

Today is apparently Writers Disclose AI day, so here's mine.

I have never used AI to write, edit, or make any materials related to my books, and insofar as it is within my power, I never will.

BUT.
December 21, 2025 at 5:55 AM
Y'all, we can and should shun AI, but we can NOT be pissed at writers for not understanding what is was in the early years, as it got shoved into all of our tools without our consent.

People needed a minute to learn what it was.
Since a lot of people are doing the "I have never used AI post" I have to do the "I have to be honest and accept the consequences" version. I did not understand what AI nor grammarly was and used it for a while. I have since pulled down my stuff and am getting it re-edited but if you want to

Made the cookies.

Please clap.
Went out and bought stuff to make cookies and now I'm too tired to make cookies.

But I want cookies, dammit.

Wordle has just caused a very funny conversation in my household but I can't tell you about it without spoiling the Wordle.

News sites aren't fully on this yet, and the paragraph here was removed, but I checked the FDA site and it looks real.

I know I usually do more political commentary, but right now I am in the hole of "I've said all this already."

Just assume I'm over here reading every headline and saying "That's deeply fucked up" before putting my phone down and going back to things I can actually do things about.

I have joined a local forum and discovered there are only two kinds of posts:

1. The post office has fucked up, and

2. The resolution supporting Palestine is/is not anti-Jewish
