Sad that we have the only majorly industrialized nation in the world who is fighting to the death to not offer universal health care. My,59m, health insurance price goes up roughly 130% in Jan. $1450 to $3250. No idea how to handle that. Self employed. Blue Cross Blue Shield. Enjoy you on MS NOW now
Here's the plan: Simply assume that there's a well-functioning market for health insurance and then let people buy insurance in that imaginary market.

So my self employed self with a non ACA marketplace, just regular old Blue Cross Blue Shield plan, is going from roughly $1,450 a month (59m) to $3,250 a month in January. I was against cutting subsidies for the ACA which MAGA did. But I don’t know what to do with $3,250/month. $1,300 more than rent

Just clear things up about the housing shortage. The shortage is not because the immigrant building new homes also has a house. At least in my area it’s investment corporations buying desirable houses in desirable neighborhoods sight unseen for cash no inspections. It’s a big deal.

I think some folks are giving MTG way too much credit for having an ‘awakening’. She hasn’t. Her disagreement with him is the threats against her. Not the insurrection, not the MAGA shutdown, not the MAGA congress just laying down, and abdicating their actual constitutional jobs.
