We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both.

I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

A review by the editorial board shows that Trump has used the office of the presidency to make at least $1,408,500,000.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

my first thought was "unmitigated bullshit" but then I realize that part of the problem is all the opportunists that are making tons of money on just telling this dummy anything he wants to hear.
Trump: "I was with the 2 best pollsters - McLaughlin & Fabrizio - & they said, 'Sir, George Washington & Abraham Lincoln, if they came back and ran as president and VP, they couldn't beat you.' Then the following day I was told to stay tuned because there's something really bad happening in China."

🌊 NEW ARTORR VIDEO 🌊

In early 2020, Lucasfilm hired Tony Gilroy to write a spy thriller about #RogueOne's Cassian #Andor. What Gilroy wrote instead was radical; a story about tyranny, revolution and sacrifice.

please share or repost, I'd super appreciate it!! ❤️

I will never get over the fact that the Republican Party chose as its standard-bearer, and this country elected as its President, quite possibly the worst human being on the planet.
Trump: "ICE is gonna be too rough with somebody. They're gonna make a mistake sometimes. I felt horribly when I was told the young woman had the tragedy. But when I learned her father is - I hope he still is, but I don't know - was a tremendous Trump fan. It's terrible. It's so sad. It just happens"

I genuinely think one thing that trips up folks on the left is that they can't imagine not sharing certain core values. Lemme explain. Here's an intuition pump:

Say you're in negotiations with counterparty X. And there are two possible deals on the table ...

Trump’s fixation on filching the island territory from Denmark may seem like the demented ravings of a mad king. But to a cohort of plutocrat weirdos, it makes perfect sense.

The Virginia legislature today passed four constitutional amendments, all by day 3 of 2026 session:

—protect abortion rights
—repeal the same-sex marriage ban
—allow mid-decade redistricting
—greatly expand voting rights restoration.

These will all go to 2026 referendums.

This whole interview treats the documentary director like a hostile witness. It's pretty gross. All they seem to want is some sort of confirmation that the writers messed up stuff...obviously the interviewer was big mad about the finale so it's pretty unprofessional to me.

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, the high water mark is without a doubt Andor, and Kennedy made it happen against all odds. Filoni wouldn’t have done that (*I adore Rebels*). We are in for years of goofy callbacks and nonsensical connections in a tiny little galaxy dominated by Skywalkers.
Regarding Kathleen Kennedy, I don't think much of most of the work she did on Disney Star Wars. I'm also capable of looking at the past several years of Marvel and Pixar and Disney "live action" and figuring out that the common denominator of suck is not Kathleen Kennedy.
