Here is #NGC7000 imaged with my 190MN and #ZWO ASI 2600MM, in the SHO palette, each filter (SII, Ha and OIII) was a total of 6 hours integration for a total of 18 hours. #astrophotography #nebula #astronomy
Had a go processing some of my older narrowband data in Pixinsight of Melotte 15 in the Heart Nebula. I feel this is a better result this time, more finer structure and better stars. This was 18 hours data with Ha, SII and OIII using Atik 383L+ and 190MN #astrophotography

Its raining again so here is an image from earier this year. M81 and M82 galaxies. 6 Hrs Lum and 2 hrs total R,G,B using 190MN and ZWO 2600MM. 100% crop of each galaxy and the full image rescaled. This is another Pixinsight re-process, still learning but very happy with this :) #astrophotography

Re-processed my M106 image with Pixinsight, wish I had taken the leap earlier to PI, much improved, although had to crop a portion to avoid poorly calibrated frames. This is a LRGB image, total of 19 hours exposure with 190MN and ZWO 2600MM camera, click left image for 100% crop #astrophotography

After an extended summer break from Astrophotography I am back in the saddle and capturing photons again. Amazingly everything fired up first time, although many critters have been evicted. Tonight’s target is SH2-125 The Cocoon Nebula, might take a couple of nights.

Not sure if it’s just me but for us UK based astrophotographers this must be the longest continuous streak of clear nights in decades, I think I have had nearly 3 weeks of cloudless skies so far ☺️, it’s so unusual, normally it’s a few a month at best #astrophotography

A super Seagull Nebula (IC 2177) by Darren, can be a tough target for our latitude here in UK, need a clear southern horizon.
Latest #Astrophotography adventure, The Seagull Nebula. This was a difficult one, it’s very low from here, doesn’t get much above 20°, skirting the trees. And with the clocks going forward I was only able to about 1.5 hours a night. This it’s just over 6 hours and is very noisy. Details in AltText

Super M101 by Manuel
M101 – about 20 hours through my 12" RC / EQ8-R / Touptek 2600 mono camera (color data from an older shot). My main objective was to test different guiding settings. OAG guiding seems to be a pain in the *** at almost 2m focal length, especially under mediocre seeing conditions. #astrophotography

This cosmic bird is comprised of such a huge expanse of dust and gasses that it would take 100 years traveling at the speed of light to go from one wing tip to the other!
It took 3800 years for this light to hit my yard in Victoria, BC.

First image with the Cat91 from Starfront Observatories, and a target I've wanted to go after for a while now, this is Sh2 308, aka the Dolphin Head nebula. It is a bubble-like nebula surrounding a Wolf-Rayet star.
