My longest project yet, a little over 100hrs total on Andromeda. 62.5h LRGB and another 39.5h on Ha.

Shot from Starfront Remote Observatories with a RedCat51, ASI533MM Pro, and Antlia HaLRGB filters.

All this just to fall for the same shit they did last time this happened. Same old Dem party I guess

Catching up on editing some images. This is a cool region in the constellation Cygnus with two Wolf-Rayet stars, the ever-popular Crescent Nebula, aka NGC6888, in the top left and WR134 in the bottom right.

Been a bit lazy about editing photos lately, but finally decided to finish one up.

IC1318 - Sadr Region and the Butterfly in Cygnus

Another quick project now that the weather is finally getting better. M8 and M20, the Lagoon and Trifid Nebulae in LRGB. Dark skies and bright objects are basically a cheat code, making targets like this almost easy.

Another from Starfront Observatories, part of the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex.
15hrs total exposure time, shot with Cat91 telescope and Player One Poseidon-M Pro camera.

It's finally reached the "oh god why does anyone live here" time of year in Kansas

A quick two-panel mosaic on the Blue Horsehead nebula, shot from Starfront Observatories

About 10.5 total hours, shot with Cat91 telescope, Player One Poseidon-M camera, and Antlia LRGB filters

Been a slow spring for astro but I finally got around to finishing an image. 75hrs on Messier 83, a very tough target from the northern hemisphere as it is pretty low in the sky.

My latest from Starfront Remote Observatories, Sh2-284

The main object in this image, Sh2-284, is interesting object that reminds me of another Sharpless object, the Lion Nebula, with its distinctive separation between an Oiii heavy region and an Ha heavy region

Double Sunrise: Like headlights through the fog, a rare sight through the morning's murk and mire. The crescent tips of an eclipsed sun break the horizon simultaneously, giving the illusion of two rising.

just for the record, I have a zero-tolerance policy towards transphobia and if I see it in my mentions it's an instant block.

Last night's full moon, before the eclipse and during totality, plus a view of my telescope pointing at the blood moon

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that I won a William Optics GT71 by getting 4th place in the William Optics astrophotography competition? Cuz I did that

Keeping with the theme of "nebula that vaguely resemble animals", next up is the Seagull Nebula.

This large emission nebula is in the constellation Monoceros and has several interesting features throughout, including a couple small planetary nebulae.

this encapsulates what all of this administration is about. they aren’t “accidentally” destroying departments. they are intentionally destroying the government so they can become the government. the only issue they have with the system is they don’t profit from it or control it

Been a slow February for #astrophotography, so I went back and reprocessed my Elephant Trunk data, this time in an HOO palette instead of the SHO palette I previously did

First image with the Cat91 from Starfront Observatories, and a target I've wanted to go after for a while now, this is Sh2 308, aka the Dolphin Head nebula. It is a bubble-like nebula surrounding a Wolf-Rayet star.

Another one from Starfront Observatories, and my last image with the RedCat51 + 533MM combo, this is the Jellyfish Nebula. The Jellyfish is an interesting case of a supernova remnant interacting with surrounding molecular clouds, giving it it's unique shape.

Another one from Starfront Remote Observatories, a widefield shot of Messier 81 and Messier 82, aka Bode's and Cigar Galaxies. Gravitational interaction between M81 and M82 gives M82 its unique look.
The dust around them is what's known as IFN, or Integrated Flux Nebulae.

My latest from Starfront Remote Observatories, 48hrs on Sh2-216 in HOO with RGB stars. It is large in appearance and is one of the closest planetary nebulae to us. Despite it's large apparent size, it is still fairly dim.
