Jupiter imaged on Tuesday morning in good seeing, with the C11.
I think this is the first time I've captured vague albedo features on Ganymede, it's largest moon, which I was pleased about

The planetary nebula Sh2-188 in the constellation Cassiopeia is also known as Shrimp Nebula due to its shape. I took this image over five nights in August using a C8, an ASI294mc Pro camera and a total exposure time of around 13 hours (details in image) #Astrophotography

It's not the best image you are going to see of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), but I managed to catch it with my DSLR. 30 images stacked. 5 seconds/ISO 800/ F/3.5. A quick set up with the intervalometer, just after sunset. I'm quite pleased to have caught it!

Mind has been officially blown by seeing Saturn and its moon Titan through the Mills Observatory Victorian 10" Cooke telescope. WOW! Every time I've visited before, the clouds have come too, but not today! This old technology still works perfectly with a clockwork tracking mechanism. Stunning 🥳👌 🔭

October 27, 2025 ended with twilight adorned by luminous colorful brush strokes due to an earlier launch from Vandenberg. The plume was invisible until the darkening sky above the twilight revealed it as as a pale white wisp. Later, as Earth's shadow climbed up the plume, sunset colors appeared.

Managed to grab a few more images of Comet Lemmon this evening (Sunday Oct 26th) from Kielder Campsite, Northumberland, through very brief gaps in the clouds. This is a phone-processed stack of half a dozen jpg images taken with my Seestar S50.

Another session with the #Seestar S50 last night. Getting a feel for what it can/can't do, but there's much to learn—including accessing/using the RAW files; maybe this weekend. Also need to test it in a dark sky, not suburban.

Here's 3x Orion neb w/ different exposures, and the Helix nebula. 1/n 🔭

Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) taken on 19 October from the roof of our garage at 135 mm focal length (stack of 192 10s-subs). Despite thin clouds and streetlights between the comet and me, the gas & dust tails are clearly visible in different colors. Brings back memories of Hale-Bopp #astrophotography

That was an exciting evening on 18 October: 2 cameras, 2 comets and, to top it off, some #auroraborealis: C/2025 R2 (SWAN) was close to the bright nebulae M16 & M17 and the open clusters NGC6645 & M25 (1. image). Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) tried to hide behind clouds but failed (2.)😉

A capture of comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) yesterday morning under a 67% lit Moon. More of the tail captured this time, despite the moonlight. I could see the comet easily in binoculars too. I estimated it to be mag 5.7. Noticeably brighter than a few days ago. #Astronomy #Astrophotography #A6Lemmon

Last night's evidence:
1. North America Nebula (1 hour)
2. Andromeda (20 min)
3. Pac-Man Nebula (15 min)

The universe is basically just hydrogen, dark matter, and dark energy. Plus trillions upon trillions of perturbations lol
