7:30 pm. 84 confirmed ICE events in MN today 2/16 that were reported to iceout.org. Over 5 per hour. How many were not reported to that site or any other place? Happy Presidents Day??? Are you surprised?? Well, Homan’s lies got the media to pay no more attention. We are still watching.

It’s ours, and we the people will fight for it.

Hundreds of masked ICE agents descended on a community event in Idaho, violently arresting children and their families at gunpoint.

We're suing the Trump administration and 4 local police agencies for abusing criminal warrants to carry out unconstitutional immigration raids.

The filing aims to hold rogue federal agents accountable by linking them to a conspiracy.

Bullshit, then why haven't more white people been detained?
Homan: "When they say 'stop racial profiling' -- that's just not occurring. ICE will briefly detain and question somebody based on reasonable suspicion. It has nothing to do with racial profiling."

This is called a community college and if we funded them properly we wouldn't need private individuals to offer these kinds of services.

Actually she's in her cage having a bedtime snack. She didn't bite anyone today and was only mildly alarmed about women's skeleton.

For the first time since Jan. 5, there were no ICE flights out of Minneapolis Friday, probably because of this ruling.

Got to have an impromptu celebration IRL tonight with @ottergoose.net and @jjindc.bsky.social🙏.
Incredibly powerful opinion chronicling the awfulness in Whipple and the ways it interfered with the right to counsel.

One key part of the ruling (that ICE will likely appeal ASAP); Judge Brasel bars ICE from transferring anyone out of Minnesota within 72 hours of arrest.

I want people to really understand and grapple with how bad it is for victims and all of us to live in a system where sexual violence is not punished, but victims are punished more for coming forward. I need people to see it for what it is so that we can actually do something about it

UCLA said no to Trump's abusive demands, went to court, and the govt is backing off.

Harvard said no to Trump's abusive demands, went to court, and the govt is left sputtering.

Columbia, Cornell, and Northwestern giving in was a big mistake. If only there were lessons against appeasing fascists.
This is a genuinely huge, sweeping victory today for the University of California—or rather, for us, its faculty, acting through our faculty associations, while the UC itself maintained a strict policy of deer-in-headlights silence.

The Trump admin has given up its appeal of a powerful injunction:

Every appearance in front of people or cameras is the same theme w variations because he’s a narcissist with dementia. Which makes him doubly unfit. I also noticed that most of the dogs suggested were pretty small
