However, you will lose my follow if you tweet trash pop geopolitics and agonize over shitty definitions of “strategy.”
Clausewitz, after reading a single strategy cheese post

I have to admit, I was sorry to read that Emperor Maurice’s Strategikon was, in fact, Pseudo-Maurice’s. Maurice of Nassau and Maurice de Saxe—do not disappoint this stratégiste. Yours truly, Mo-mo.

The Art of War literature teaches that writing #Strategy is an exercise fraught with illusion. You can't theorize it, you can barely describe it as a historical object, and you can't prescribe it. The gap between strategy in words and practice is the defining feature of the genre. #StrategicStudies

It’s only been four days since people were saying Trump was getting frustrated with Putin and was working with Europe to bring in sanctions. It was like saying Kyiv would fall to the Russians in 3 days.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio:

"And frankly, at this point, I think it's abundantly clear that the only way we're going to have a breakthrough here is between President Trump and president Putin. It's going to require that level of engagement to have a breakthrough in this matter"

Now how do we get one of Trump's golf buddies to read this article, understand it, and pass it along in small, bite-sized chunks out on the course?

I go to sleep every night confident that Washington would have told me to hang the bastards.
You know? I still find it remarkably easy to remain patriotic throughout this administration.

Trump and the MAGA crowd are a repudiation of every single civic ideal that the United States is meant to represent—and I see no reason to stop believing in those ideals because of them.
