It has occurred to me that when social media goes downhill, it often mirrors eutrophication 🧵

Oh, and: watch out for marginalized + vulnerable mutuals. Report + block the bigots who come after them, and as appropriate, have a plan for supporting them if they're forced offline.
On a broader scale, keep an eye out for HABs: if any vulnerable group is forced out, others will follow.
