WOW! This late Roman blue glass cup made an epic 12,000 km journey!

Made in the eastern Mediterranean, it was excavated from the Cheonmachong Tomb, a royal tomb of the ancient Silla Kingdom in Korea! 🤯

Went to a wonderful paper on William Morris by Lilah Grace Canevaro, but once I find myself questioning the Victorians... Did they have 72 hour days? Did their years have extra months? How were they getting all this stuff done?

Incredible article which points out that it often collectively costs more to apply for scarce research funding than the funds awarded to the successful proposals.
