If Donald Trump wanted these records reviewed and released quickly, they would be. Lawyers from other government agencies could be deployed to assist with the review. Nonlawyers could handle many of the administrative tasks. Trump could pressure compliant private law firms to contribute resources.

Data brokers are the invisible engines of the data surveillance economy. It's hard to escape. Until.

California just opened a website to delete (and keep deleting) your information from 500+ data brokers in one fell swoop.

Try it if you're in California and LMK how it goes! privacy.ca.gov/drop/

Protect your personal information. Data brokers collect, share, and sell your personal information. You can stop that from happening.

In a 2025 survey, 47% said they would still support or vote for Donald Trump if he "was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking activities" (see: leger360.com/trump-epstei... )

Hello @ericlipton.nytimes.com

American democracy is under siege, yet the Editorial Board is silent on the remedies of impeachment / call for resignation (unrealistic). The Founders would be appalled at such timidity.

The Publisher of the Sentinel shared his insights…

A 🧵
How many newspaper Editorial Boards have called for Pres. Trump's impeachment (or resignation)?

As far as we know, only one: @sentinelcolorado.com

The judge explains that while she hasn't accepted the government's indictment, an indictment isn't the only path to prove probable cause. Here, the judge has determined there IS probable cause Cole did this, and holds him in pretrial detention based on danger to the community.
JUST IN: A magistrate judge has ordered alleged pipe bomber Brian Cole detained pending trial.

He’ll likely appeal this to his eventual trial judge if/when there is an accepted federal indictment.

And yet some *billionaires* believed it and then spread the lie over on Twitter.

I'd just add... as a local journalist with a community-driven show... we aim to explore what people are curious about, not reinforce their convictions. That's not our role as journalists.
The news shouldn’t be left versus right. It should be factual.

It shouldn’t be driven by the people, it should be informing the people.

It shouldn’t pander, engage in speculation or hyperbole.

It should educate.

It should provide context.

It should expose you to experts in various fields.
