As if ebikes aren't already getting a bad rap from the general, uninformed public, now electric dirt bikes operated by teenage kids are making their way onto active infrastructure and stirring up a whole new wave of chaos.

We just returned home from a week-long road trip, our first without our Aussie companion Boomer. At Hot Springs National Park, I spotted this “Bark Ranger” and felt we needed a mascot for our future travels.

No spending on 2/28. I’m committed to being more deliberate about where my $$$ are spent, focusing on local & independent businesses. That starts with closing my Target Red Card account, which I’ve had since 2008. By ending DEI support, they’ve shown just how 🔴 they’ve become.

I’ve been working on transcriptions of National Archives records related to the Chinese Exclusion Act. Some documents are pretty mundane, but the interviews provide glimpses into the lives of these individuals & family members, as they provide evidence of their right to travel to & from the U.S.

Where are the defenders of the US as Elon and nameless private agents infiltrate US agencies, commandeer US servers, steal US data, seize US money, march US officials from US buildings? Who sallies forth from the FBI? The CIA? Congress? DoD? The media? This is a coup—and America appears defenseless.

2. Limit your inputs. You can't help if you're paralyzed.

I expected this to be a fail. Replaced 25% of bread flour with whole wheat. I was certain I’d botched this boule after tweaking the amount of water (too dry, then too wet). In the end this sourdough was far better than expected & gave me the confidence to trust my novice bread making instincts!
