Shoutout to the composers that put their absolute all into making music for video games.

They have created so many amazing soundtracks.

Sometimes there is a second post below the one on the top.

If you aren't looking for and reading that second post before you reply, you're definitionally missing something and are probably not actually engaging with what the author of that post has to say.

Site-blocking proposals like FADPA are built to fail. They silence lawful content and push users toward risky tools just to access information. Tell Congress: Stop this.
Tell Congress: No to Internet Blacklists
Congress is once again pushing dangerous website-blocking laws, including the Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA). These bills would let copyright holders get court orders to block entire websites...

I have always had a revulsion to reality TV because it's very clear that the characters have exactly one goal: win.

There's no dimensionality, there's no quandary to navigate, it's simply win the game. All narrative drama happens to this end.

But life, though it is filled with games, has stakes.

I think progressives have had a problem with "purity tests" (the need for all leaders to have tightly aligned perspectives or else stay quiet about it)

And I think the Democratic Party has had a problem with being...undemocratic - with too much power in the institution and not in the people.

Honestly?

This might sound like crank nonsense but I think a large part of why we're in this mess is we're all too willing to discuss issues without mentioning solutions.

It's why I never simply say "people cannot charge at apartments" - that's a political reality, not a practical one.
