There is a world where Congress has a constitutional law office that issues a counter-memo, and the Capitol Police go enforce the law and force their way into these detention camps for Congressional oversight
BREAKING: On February 2, Sec. Noem issued a memo asserting the lapse in appropriations for DHS meant there is no Sec. 527 — the provision protecting congressional oversight visits to immigration detention facilities — and she was issuing a new (third) policy requiring seven-day notice for visits.

This is sickening. For comparison, this is more than the Department of Energy spent for all solar power and wind power R&D for the whole country.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Super Bowl viewers Sunday speculated that 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos appeared in the halftime show. In fact, he has been in hiding with his family.

“He can’t sleep well at night. He wakes up three or four times a night screaming, ‘Daddy, Daddy,’” Liam's father Adrian Conejo Arias, said.

With a bit more support to Ukraine, it's absolutely plausible that Russia breaks and loses the entire war. That's what thinking Europeans want to help Ukraine achieve. And that's what America is trying to prevent.
Ukraine destroyed over 9,000 Russian armored vehicles in three years. Russia replaced them all.

Here's the catch: they did it by draining Soviet-era storage from 10,400 vehicles down to 1,800, according to @Rebel44CZ.

Production adds just 900 vehicles a year. Russia loses 2,300+.

Agree. America is in deep trouble. Led by extremists and lunatics. It's not just Trump. There's a markedly unhealthy and dangerous spirit on the loose. It is evident in both foreign and domestic policy.
We are entering genuinely dangerous times.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
