The tea plant is blooming!
Many more flowers, now this plant's getting more sun (neighbor cut back a tree).
Camellia sinensis. 🌱
So far, harvesting about two cups of tea a year.
I minimally process (wilt in sun) some new leaves each Spring and drink it as white tea.
Delicious!

I made a rare trip to grocery store. checkout clerk was awesome shared great tips on keeping the new aloe vera alive-had questions on the kohlrabi jicama b/c he’s a chef
He is also a Falconer and raises rabbits, but of course the rabbits are for the falcon. I love getting out.

This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.
