Good morning. I'd like to invite anyone who is interested to make a small gesture of kindness today. It's up to you to decide what that can be. The key is for you to act on the idea. With so much out of our control, we can choose how to be with each other today and every day.

Remember when they told us they were only interested in removing (ie censoring) books that are “obscene” and “harmful” to children?

They lied. 😑

That’s what’s going to happen

Fox Producer: Jesse Watters would like to invite you on his show

AOC: He has sexualized and harassed me on his show.

FP: That’s not true

AOC: He accused me of wanting to sleep with Stephen Miller. So why don’t you tell me what you think is acceptable to tell a woman.

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.

Our military and "department of war" invaded a sovereign nation, killed a bunch of civilian non-combatants, and abducted a foreign leader - a pretty nasty one, but still - for a show trial.
No risks of a court martial detected for those involved with that.

ICE murdering a woman and Elon Musk's AI creating tens of thousands of non-consensual sexual images of girls/women are not unrelated.

America is a society which hates and is routinely violent towards women.

The immediate demand today is neither new nor excessive. This demand, with which we must take to the streets, organize our workplaces, and orient our daily practices, is only a small but necessary part of anti-fascist struggle. Abolish ICE.

This Isn’t the First Killing by ICE — and It Won’t Be the Last
ICE shot a woman point-blank in Minneapolis. The agency’s raids and impunity were always going to lead to death.

I have seen three videos now, all of them contradict Tricia's statement. And every single journalist who interacts with her knows that she lies all the time in ways that can be proven, which should also be stated in the piece.
the nyt says that no version of events in minneapolis can be "verified independently." but that's not true! there are multiple videos proving that the ICE version of events is a total lie. maybe the nyt can, y'know, watch one of them? www.nytimes.com/live/2026/01...

really? really? you're cool with "if you don't follow directions, they get to kill you"? that seems like a good state of affairs to you? that seems like how law enforcement ought to work: instant obeisance or death?
