I think it would do everyone on here todsy a lot of good to understand there's a wide distance between "this thing makes me uncomfortable" and "I think people doing or enjoying this should be punished by the state"

I wish punchy hard-boiled writing wasn't so masculine coded and associated with copaganda. I love the style and finding a sentence that cuts like a knife, but hate the politics in much of it. I'd love to see that prose style written by women and about women, rather than stereotypically purple prose.

Having another round of "considering switching to they/them but mostly cuz dysphoria sucks and consistently being seen and respected as a women feels impossible, so part of me thinks that if I can bury the desire to be seen that way without detransitioning maybe id be happy"
