On net I like Bluesky, but the shift really lost grad students (far fewer active here vs. during peak EconTwitter). With job market season, it’s been kinda nice seeing familiar faces who were in the Covid grad school trenches w me popping up again recently

My colleague Dr. Sehrish Shikarpurya and I got to work on a review of the use of Critical Quantitative Methods (CQM) within special education. The White House is taking new steps to undermine every international student at our universities.

It has approved a new rule restricting student visas to 4 years max. That's not long enough for PhD students, or about half of undergrads, to finish their degree.

Likely to enter force within days.
