This article will be out in "Inquiry: Critical Thinking Across the Disciplines" later this year, but we are also sharing an open-access/pre-print version of the article and remain committed to continuing on this path to ensure accessibility of our work to broader audiences in the future.

I TA’ed a 4-student reading class. They were also in teaching practicum. Because it was practice based we built in time for them to practice curriculum and interventions. Discussions also encouraged students to reflect on their placements and we would brainstorm based on the kiddos they worked with

This concept of "deployment of disability" gets me thinking about how teachers are crucial gatekeepers to identification for supports and services, and on the flip side, also a key leverage point when thinking about disproportionality in disability ID. Plus, I love a vignette study.
