Begin to suspect there’s something wrong with me, because I’ve voluntarily eaten a dozen Vegemite scrolls in the last week. I usually involuntarily eat 1 serve of Vegemite every 2 years. Don’t get me wrong it still tastes horrible in the mouth, but my brain is lighting up like Christmas every bite.

Lordy, the waiting lists. And the procedures not properly covered by Medicare. (I have been so grateful to private surgeon & anaesthetist generosity in reducing fees for repeat necessary treatments.) Australia's #healthsystem now rich v poor, city v regional, especially maternity.

Good. We don’t need to restrict what is already a rare thing done soberly. The people who push these unnecessary bans must have no real understanding of all the tragic ways in which a pregnancy can go wrong, or they wouldn’t wish such suffering upon everyone involved.

“That means courts will treat these children like adults” is a sentence the premier actually used. Proposing life sentences for 14-16 year olds is evil. Meanwhile the federal government is banning kids the same age from social media. Too young to post online but not to serve life in prison.
These reforms violate human rights obligations, contradict the evidence and will be devastating for children and young people in conflict with the law.
