We need compulsary voting, like Australia, overturning of citizens united, automatic voter registration, voter education, election day as a paid holiday, fair maps, and END discrimination and poll taxes (ie, strict voter ID laws), and electoral college. Let's fight for those things!

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. The reason the descent into a police state has been so rapid is because the infrastructure was already there. It’s been there since 9/11.
They called the targeting of brown people of another faith and erosion of civil liberties the “patriot” act so you would feel guilty or fearful for being against it. So you would adopt an us versus them mindset. You were being groomed for autocratic rule all along.
