I am still masking because despite the government saying COVID is ‘mild’ it’s not. No virus that carries post infection risks lasting 3 or more years is mild. I don’t want to pass on heart, immune damage, or neurological to other people.

I’d just like to say again.

Studies re COVID-19 published in 2020 clearly stated that deposition patterns consistent with aerosol spread was happening in hospitals.

They were finding positive samples for RNA in air ducts, on windows, under beds.

They did not match the advice to the findings…

Reality is very different from Equality, Equity and Justice
Equality is different from Equity

We should aspire to justice for all

The accusation that the Lords are “obstructing democracy” by supporters of the assisted dying bill is a ridiculous one that shows up the flaws in this process that have been there from the very beginning – which have repeatedly been covered up by heated rhetoric (1/?)

Student loans are not, and have never been, fair and this is shown by how government treats them. If they are a loan, then the terms should be those agreed at the point they were taken out i.e. no freezes to thresholds or extensions to terms. Otherwise, they are simply a tax by another name.

It would appear most politicians can’t and it’s helping the political right. No health messaging is coming through from Labour to correct the catastrophic mess from the last government and this is partly why Reform are surging.
[27 Jun 2025] @DrTedros at WHO media briefing:

“We cannot talk about COVID-19 in the past tense. Although the crisis has passed, the virus remains.

It continues to evolve, it continues to kill, and millions of people continue to live with post COVID-19 condition or long COVID.”

This headline leaves out the key points:

Closer alliances with Europe. We are becoming the weak link against Donald Trump.

A defence strategy not dependent on the USA.

And ending the billions wasted on Trident - which doesn't work & leases the warheads from...the USA.
EXC: Zack Polanski tells us Britain should consider closing US military bases, leave Nato and denuclearise, as he begins to flesh out the Greens’ foreign policy.

Also spells out to @pippacrerar.bsky.social and me his red lines in any coalition talks to come.
