WUTHERING HEIGHTS aims for lush depravity that finds deeper kinship with Peter Greenaway than (from what I gather) BrontΓ«. Even if Emerald Fennell's film doesn't strike the same depth as either, I'm still taken by how verdantly in love she is with the wild, petty messiness of human behavior.
