I think by now we all know I had a wonderful time at #ukge2025. That said, there WAS something that really disappointed me, that I think is important to highlight - the use of AI.

Anybody who pays RPG writers less than 10 cents a word has no business hiring RPG writers, period, full stop, end of discussion. Anyone who wants to argue this point is a worthless asshole and they're free to block me, as my stance on this will not be changing anytime soon
Some ongoing industry discussion about pay for TTRPG writers. My (apparently controversial) thought is that 10 cents per word should be an absolute floor, not a "generous" offer. If you refuse to provide your workers a living wage your business should not exist.
