I still like yellow numbers. I now like blue skies.
The man has completely lost it. This is, of course, not even possible. "High" is relative and in order for someone to have a high income, someone else must have a low income.

But of course he's got the answer to solve all the world's problems with a robot.

The framing of this by CNN implies she's talking about bad candidates, but she isn't. She's saying this country hates women. People say look at Mexico or Germany, they elected women. Yes. Because they, as a country, don't hate women nearly as much as we do. Fucked up shit. She's not lying.

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Holy crap. I don't even think a Democrat in congress has straight up called Trump a pedophile like this.
Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"

Trump and his administration have overseen numerous horrors. Out in the open horrors.

But the Epstein thing is an absolute scandal. Not a distraction. A full on scandal. Depending on what they’re hiding, maybe the biggest in Presidential history.

Keep treating it as such.

I’m a big fan of public schools, but JD Vance is unwittingly doing a lot to further his party’s argument against them.

Yikes.
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

In case you think this is just me complaining about officials again, here’s the call. They called it common on the floor, went over and reviewed for 10 seconds and upgraded it.

Was a 5 point game at the time. These FTs made it 3. Illinois hung on to win by 4.

The gambling line was Illinois -3.5.
Kylan Boswell flagrant-1 foul called with Texas Tech down 5 with 12.5 seconds left.

Illinois had a foul to give but Texas Tech now get two free throws and the ball after this play and a chance to tie the game.

Huuuuge win for the Illini. The sorta game they haven’t been able to finish off in past years.

That said, somebody out to look into the officials involved in upgrading that late foul to a flagrant 1. In the current gambling climate, that was sketchy AF. I think the line was 4.5 or 5.5 too.

Until we address the wealth gap, we’ll never seriously fix anything.

It’s the problem that connects all other problems.

They’re so f***ing close. But they’re too stupid in their opposition to get there.
Trump: "We want a healthcare system where we pay the money to the people instead of the insurance companies. We're gonna be working on that very hard over the next short period of time. Where the people get the money. We're talking about trillions and trillions of dollars."

Sometimes, due to a couple similarities in appearance and their positions on two devastatingly failed presidential tickets, I momentarily mix up Tim Walz and Tim Kaine. (I suppose probably also bc of their first name).

I am so sorry to Tim Walz for that.

It’s not for me to say who New York’s senator(s) should be, but I now firmly hope AOC takes a run at Schumer.

Regardless of whether his senatorial career ends, it is within my purview to hope his leadership ends. That’s a position in which I am a constituent of his, and he’s gotta go.

Whichever high profile Dem announces a primary challenge to Schumer first has the advantage.
November 10, 2025 at 2:12 AM
This would have been more redeemable by the Dems if they’d all voted for it honestly. Then they could have at least messaged about being the saviors or something.

But the cliched “Dems in disarray” is now just plain accurate.

Feckless leader
Schumer: "I must vote no. I can not, in good faith, support this CR. ... Make no mistake about it, the American people know who is inflicting this pain on them."

He stops short of urging his colleagues to vote "no."
