Good reminder that there’s a free way to boost the dynamic range of your orbitrap-based instruments.
MAP-MS overcomes dynamic range limitations in Orbitrap instruments.
Using an Exploris 480 with an EASY-nLC 1200 and Aurora Ultimate XT column, Phlairaharn et al. achieved a 9% increase in protein IDs for DDA and a 4% improvement for DIA, while halving quantitative variation.

The Mag-Net paper is out! We've now put 1000s of plasma samples through this protocol and we know others have too. We've used it to study dozens of diseases. Looking forward to seeing what others apply this towards. The preprint already has >39 citations. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
