Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

Dear @warren.senate.gov and Gov Whitmer, please don't muddy waters by "well-actually-ing" tariff policy. The message is the simple truth:
The TRUMP TARIFF TAX is robbing working Americans.
The TRUMP TARIFF TAX is crushing American businesses.
The TRUMP TARIFF TAX is killing the American economy.

treat the signalgate story like fox news would

- what other secrets are they hiding
- are there payoff backchannels
- release the long form text transcripts
- this requires a criminal investigation
- what other backchannels are they leaking classified intel on? members of congress? fox news? russia

If these men had any sense of honor, they would already have resigned. The fact that they are all still in their jobs is just as damning as their terrifying and lawless incompetence.

If they are illegally detaining legal permanent residents by month two, they will be illegally detaining citizen dissidents by year two. If you want it to stop before it reaches you, we will have to stop it here.

This is an attack on the rule of law. If a country seizes people with valid documents for detention and refuses to abide by any judicial process for it, that country is fundamentally lawless.

That the detention is indefinite and in a foreign labor prison makes it even more so.
Had missed this story in the Miami Herald about a man that already been granted refugee status being removed under the Alien Enemies Act declaration to CECOT. The other identified removals I'd heard of were undocumented or asylum seekers, first I'm hearing of approved refugees being targeted
Despite refugee status in the U.S., young Venezuelan was deported to Salvadoran prison
E.M. and his girlfriend fled persecution in their native Venezuela in 2021 and dreamed of making a new life in the United States.

Including the wrong recipient is a mistake. Using a non-government platform for classified information is a crime.

I am BEGGING people to frame this properly. The issue here is not one colossal blunder where a reporter got info. The issue is it’s clear these people are all routinely ignoring the most absolutely basic security protocols, and WE HAVE NO IDEA what breaches this has already enabled.
I am glad that Senators are grilling DNI Gabbard and CIA Director Ratcliffe today.

Today should be the start of a 4-year drum beat on Trump's team putting US troops in jeopardy by sharing operational war plans with a reporter before undertaking the operation.

Too much is not enough.

You use the officials USGovt secure channels to hide communications from bad actors. You use Signal to hide communications from the USGovt.
As I explain here, security isn't even the biggest part of the Signal Scandal. This is to keep actions secret from the US government. It's how to do crimes, bribes and more. talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/signa...

In any other administration of the past 80 years, the defense secretary and the national security advisor would, following an equivalent scandal, now resign.

Even though Trump’s advisors are stupid, we need to stop attributing to stupidity what is actually corruption.

The purpose of the Yemen Signal group chat was circumvention of public records disclosure laws. They want to act without accountability (which is also why they used disappearing messages).

Hegseth, Waltz and company texting war plans to a reporter on signal is just the tip of the iceberg. This whole administration is full of incompetent, inexperienced, and unqualified clowns. Our national security is compromised in ways we’re just beginning to understand.

Every single Democrat in Congress should be demanding the resignation of Waltz and Hegseth. Every single one.

This is a massive scandal. There should be a serious price to pay.

AND THERE IS ZERO DOWNSIDE FOR EVEN THE MOST SCAREDY-CAT CONGRESSPERSON.

Obviously, Jeffrey Goldberg has the texts that Hegseth claims that he doesn’t have. The Senate or House Armed Services Chairs can easily and quickly verify who is lying about this. If Hegseth blatant lied about this on camera tonight, how in the world can he continue in this job?

Every single Democratic lawmaker should be calling for Hegseth's immediate resignation right now. Not just some. Not just a few dozen. Every single one, starting at the top with Mr. Schumer and Mr. Jeffries. And the fact that it hasn't happened yet is nearly as shocking as Hegseth's conduct.

100% OPSEC!🤡
So I put a quick timeline on the insane Signal classified chat and sure enough it looks like Kremlin asset Witkoff was in Moscow when he was added to the Houthi chat. I checked Russian media and he left 3/14 Friday morning (Moscow time) meanwhile the chat was set up Thursday
