If Ukraine is forced to surrender its sovereign territory to Russia, it will be the greatest betrayal of a European ally since Poland in 1945.

The UK must lead in Europe in defence of Ukraine. We cannot stand back and watch as Zelensky is bullied by Trump.

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services.

Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt.

While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant per person of £10tn.

That's how privatisation 'works'.

Boil it down. Trump saw the tragic deaths of 67 people as a good opportunity to attack the intelligence of (let's be honest here) people of colour. He had no interest in whether there was the slightest evidential foundation.

This is who he is. This is how he thinks.

The accidental salute…
Musk comes from a family that moved to South Africa *for* the racism. He has repeatedly endorsed Great Replacement Theory in the US & Neo-Nazis of the AfD in Germany. He championed the rights of white nationalists and restored Nazi accounts to Twitter.

But I'm sure the Nazi salute was an accident.

Los Angeles received just 0.16 inches of rain since May 2024, the second-driest period on record.

Wildfires are now engulfing the city in January.

But some politicians still claim the climate crisis is a "hoax" as they do the bidding of Big Oil.

What planet are they living on?

The UK is a place where nothing works because it has been privatised to robbing bastards and the solution, apparently, is to give them more money.

Which they will also steal.

Some 3.6m women felt they were not properly informed of the age hike.

Whilst denying pension compensation to 1950s women, the Minister said the new State Pension will rise by more than £470 a year from April.

What she didn't say was that only 26% of pensioners will get full amount, others less.

Stumbling on Gurdeep Pandher's account here on Bluesky has brought more than a bit of joy this morning.
Even if we live to be 100 years old, our entire lifetime is just a blink of an eye compared to Earth's 4.5 billion years of existence. Why waste our precious time on negativity and hating our fellow travellers who share this brief journey with us? Let's find joy instead.

Message to @AngelaRayner How about building multigenerational homes. Say 3/4 bed houses with an attached independent home and garden for elderly parents or starter families? This would free up existing under occupied homes and really help everyone manage their lives.

💥 UK tap water is at risk because water companies soon won't have any chemicals to clean it with.
💥 That's because rules brought in by Brexiters mean we can only use such chemicals if they've been tested in the UK.
💥 But unlike in the EU, we don't have any certified labs able to test them!
