The Chinese politburo don’t have to meet every other year for a Hamburg/Oostende/Esbjerg/Marienborg declaration, but seem to be fully capable to build a lot of offshore wind anyway

Bra text, håller med om mycket. Men inte att importberoendet av metaller är lika illa som importberoendet av gas. Vrider Ryssland av gaskranarna fryser folk samma dag. Om Kina stoppar export av litium så blir det svårare att tillverka nya batterier, men Europa har kvar alla batterier de redan har.
Fler svenska gruvor är avgörande för Europas strategiska autonomi. EU lyfts ofta fram som verktyg för att nå dit. Men att prata från Bryssel/Stockholm leder inte långt om inte gruvsamhällena är med på tåget. Styrkan måste byggas från det lokala och uppåt: www.aftonbladet.se/ledare/a/WvO...

NEW: Coal-fired power generation fell in both China and India in 2025, for the first time since 1973. The drop came after record clean energy additions in both countries, and was the first time that clean energy was a major driver of falling coal power use.
