apropos of co-op gaming: this topic is why I stand firm on saying if you call co-op games that aren't competitive 'friendslop', you can just skip the foreplay and say you don't have any friends that want to game with you.

I truly feel that the increased exposure of talented streamers and esports pros playing online has warped the avg player's mind on what PvP games are all about. Too many people are obsessed with being the best in the world, and some have been chased away from otherwise great games because of that.
