I've had a come-to-jesus moment: the community driven "For You" page being leagues better than the first party "Discover" feed from Bluesky is not a failure, it is not a bug, it is a feature and shows the system working. This is decentralization and atproto at its best.

I've released a new version of spf13/cobra: a small release that brings in the new go.yaml.in/yaml/v3 package vs. the old deprecated/unmaintained go yaml package

Fascinating discussion on HN re: how burned out everyone in big tech is on AI: news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4613...

I can relate. At this point, I've been working in the AI space for the better part of 2 years and I'm pretty sick of it. The value add just isn't there.

The New York Times reports on how David Sacks is using his position as the White House’s AI czar to benefit his investments and those of his friends.

While this sounds like conflict of interest, there’s an old Silicon Valley VC saying - “No conflict. No interest.”

Corruption is just good business.

Gave johncodes.com/ a new coat of paint: greyscale on both lite and dark modes. I think it turned out well! Removed ATON of cruft in the process. Amazing what you can get out of a pretty basic `PostRow.astro` component

Still haven’t found a container based CI/CD system I like as much as concourse: was way ahead of its time and interfacing with the “fly” CLI made the end to end experience just great

This is pretty upsetting: the department of Education is removing nursing (along with ALOT of other degrees) as "professional" degrees.

People pursing nursing won't be eligible for higher federal loan limits nor loan forgiveness programs

Amazon gutting the Amazon Games division and swiftly killing their only good product, New Worlds, is a great reminder of why the Don't Kill Games movement is so important: Amazon, once you kill the New World servers, just open source it! Let others go and run their own servers!!
