If you are against trans women participating in women's sports you are either willfully or maliciously denying reality and what study after study after study shows us.
Unsurprisingly '75% of American adults said they do not believe trans women should be permitted to participate in female sports.'
Everyone knows that single sex female sport categories are essential to uphold substantive equality.

Poll: Most Americans oppose trans women competing in female sports, including 2 of 3 in Gen Z
Overall, 75% of American adults say trans women shouldn't be allowed to play on female sports teams, per the NBC News Stay Tuned Poll. Gen Z is the most supportive.

Really, really interesting return for the Marlins in the Weathers trade. I think there’s an argument to be made that Dillon Lewis is the best OF prospect the Yankees had in the org and will be a Top 100 prospect by the end of the year.

If someone put $1,000,000 on the table and said you had to listen to one album on repeat for 48 hours straight…
what album are you risking your sanity for?

You know it’s a great MAAC Hopps matchup when both @dalydoseofhoops.bsky.social and Sam Federman have spots at the media table.

Saint Peter’s (7-6, 4-1) hosts Merrimack (10-7, 6-0) at 2 pm inside Run Baby Run Arena. Join Dom Patrick and I on ESPN+!

Dallas really could've used an elite defender on their team this year. A Micah Parsons type, for example.
The Dallas Cowboys finished with the No. 4 worst defense in the history of DVOA.

The Cincinnati Bengals were on this list for much of the season but improved in December.

Worth noting that there are several recent members of the Yankees player development staff now working for the Marlins. So there is definitely a familiarity with any potential prospects that would be involved in a trade.
News with @ken-rosenthal.bsky.social: The Yankees are talking to the Miami Marlins about a potential trade for starting pitcher Edward Cabrera. Brian Cashman said last month that he would "love" to add another starter.

The Yankees are also looking into acquiring Milwaukee's Freddy Peralta as they look to add at least one more starting pitcher.

Having Third Eye Blind perform "Semi-Charmed Life" at halftime of the 2026 Orange Bowl is a bizarre choice. One of those really, really dark songs that is masked by it's upbeat melody.

Glad to see Abreu and Wright picking up some steam this year. DW was my favorite player growing up and while I'm not sure that he's a HOFer because of the injuries, I'm happy that he's getting enough support to stay on the ballot.
Ballot #104 is from J.J. Cooper. Six holdovers are joined by Hamels, Abreu (+9), Pedroia (+11), and Wright (+7)

Barbaric behavior from those who voted yea. This is not what happens in a country that respects individual rights.
Just now, a national trans healthcare felony ban for youth has passed the US House, with 10 year prison terms.

3 Dems crossed party lines to vote to jail providers.

4 GOP crossed party lines to vote against.

It is not expected to pass the Senate, where Dems hold filibuster power.

Story to come.

James Nelson has one of the best seasons in Atlantic League history in 2025.

He hit .315/.395/.575 with 34 homers and 53 steals in 124 games.

In the first 26 seasons of the Atlantic League, no hitter had ever had a 30-30 season

Incredibly disappointed the both New York senators voted to strip a group of their fundamental human right to exist as a member of society.
Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Can confirm the Red Sox have named Ben Buck director of pitching.

Had reported last week Buck was a finalist for the job. Buck was hired last year from the Yankees and has been a key piece of the Red Sox pitching development infrastructure
