UK Ministers must support Brazil's plans to save the world's tropical rainforests. They must also set a goal to restore Britain's own lost temperate rainforests:

Farage is flagging.

He’s losing councillors and by-elections, and his polling’s plateaued.

But we all need to fight him harder. A month ago I wrote this blog about 10 things you can do to help defeat Farage - keep doing them, it’s working! -

I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore.

So I wrote a blog about ten things you can do *right now* to help defeat Farage, Musk, and rightwing populism.

From scrutinising Reform councillors to demanding the UK Govt leave X - get involved:

If a Labour leader had been accepting bribes from Russia, it would been on the front pages of every paper for weeks (and quite rightly so).

And yet apparently the BBC won't let us talk about Nathan Gill and Reform. It should be headline news everywhere.

The former leader of Reform in Wales, Nathan Gill, has been convicted of taking bribes from Oleg Voloshyn to promote the interests of Putin - the leader Farage said he most admires.

Here’s Farage with Voloshyn’s wife.

If Gill had been a close associate of Jeremy Corbyn this might be bigger news.

Wonder if Starmer will find room in his speech to acknowledge the objective fact a century of escalating climate impacts means global migration will massively increase. We either find a way to effectively and humanely manage that fact, rather than deny it, or things will get very dark very quickly.

Here's the BBC saying that political discourse should be viewed through the lens of Reform, as they're 'making the political weather.' I'm calling BULLSHIT. It's an editorial decision by the BBC to put Reform's harmful rhetoric front and centre for clickbait.

Repellent climate denial from the Reform-led Kent Council, who have tabled a motion to ‘rescind the climate emergency’, in a document that is bollocks from start to end.

You can’t rescind atmospheric physics.

But Farage would rescind the Climate Change Act.

Good campaign from the Lib Dems here. Farage should not be getting the air time he does, it's disproportionate and dangerous. I've made a separate complaint to the BBC which will elevate to Ofcom. I encourage others to join in and give them hell.
The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.
September 10, 2025 at 1:19 PM
Exactly this. We have less than four years to stop them. Leave no stone unturned and keep showing the world what these charlatans are.
Why assume that fighting simply means vesting our hopes in another political party? Fighting means turning a blowtorch of scrutiny onto Reform’s every move, from council-level to their deeply unpopular policies: pro-fracking, pro-Trump, anti-renewables, privatise the NHS. We can *ALL* campaign here

Your weekly reminder that voter "concern" with immigration doesn't correspond to actual immigration levels.

It corresponds to the amount of coverage the media gives immigration.

This an entirely self-fulfilling mess, and it is entirely pointless.

Bit of a paradox that it takes a US Democrat to challenge Farage, whereas UK Labour does a decaf tribute act for him
Democrat @raskin.house.gov excoriates Nigel Farage for banning journalists from Reform UK events:

"I'm asking you a direct question. Why do you ban journalists who oppose your views from coming to your events? Why did you tell local government not to do interviews with your local newspaper?"
