A ridiculous run. Especially against my KC Current. I'm one of those "if you're gonna beat us, go win the whole damn thing so we can at least say we lost to the champs" type of sore loser, so...I'm okay with this.
tbf, gotham going through lkc, orlando and the spirit is absurd

Feel terrible for the Spirits. Saw them during preseason in January at IMG as we were about to go into our season. I was completely star struck seeing Trinity, Croix, Casey Krueger, Hal, etc. Such a good squad, crazy for it to go down this way again😕

Hal Herschfelt was excellent throughout this final and is obviously important to what the Spirit want to do. But it's hard to do that if you can't run. Washington coaching staff needed to make the obvious call earlier; insane to me that they didn't.

Limping back onto the field and then getting beat IMMEDIATELY for the goal. That is all on Adrian
Also it seems bad that the Sprit did not attempt to make a sub earlier than that. Herschfelt obviously didn't wanna come off but you gotta take that decision out of her hands when she can hardly walk

Hal had been the best player on the pitch until she got hurt. She comes back on, can't cover Lavelle, and then they give up the goal. Adrian made a choice his predecessor would have made. And it may cost them the ship.

berman keeps using that dumb line that the reason an 8 seed is facing a 2 seed in the championship is the salary cap, and it is driving me crazy. i would argue that a far more accurate reason is because the league sucks at protecting players like banda and chawinga on and off the pitch.
