The NWSL floor is about the salary of an entry-level position that doesn't require a degree, even in the current economy. If you think 48k is any player's worth (or yours, honestly), idk if we're having the same conversation. Stars will always get paid. Others should, too. Ok, back to the football.

Fascinating tbh, and I feel like this makes way more sense to me after I let the initial surprise wear off. A lot definitely depends on who they ultimately hire to be the coach, though, because you don't want to mess that up and lose all the momentum they have from the last two years.
BREAKING: Vlatko Andonovski is shifting solely to KC Current's sporting director, opening a head-coaching vacancy at the record-setting #NWSL Shield winners. The change has been in the works since summer.

Eating a bowl of soup (which all three of us that went to Current game together agreed we needed) probably hit more because we were all at least not cold and sad anymore. Warm and sad is a marginal improvement

All due respect to everything they accomplished this season....is that not his job as the coach to figure that out? IDK man. Also feeling a real way about Bia playing with a significant knee injury. I hate this.
Vlatko states that not having Cooper and Chawinga and a half strength Bia makes it difficult to change the game plan.
