I think it’s pretty clear that’s what it indicates. She’s absolutely right.
AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

Can we just take a minute and acknowledge that our POTUS is right OUT IN THE OPEN lobbying Congressional members to vote against releasing the Epstein files?! Like... what the fuck else does anyone even need to know?

I find it highly ironic that the party that bemoaned the deep state and alleged the cover-up of pedophiles is now embroiled in defending the party that has the largest pedophile cover-up in American history.

There was always something inexplicably strange about the recent government shutdown. From the beginning, it was crystal clear what Democrats wanted: lower health care costs, affordability and for a lawless president to start obeying the law.

But what about the Republicans?
It Was the Epstein Shutdown All Along

Was just listening to this over the last weekend, and it felt like a warm familiar embrace… maybe it’s an indulgence in nostalgia, but PJ’s music has always meant so much to me. We gotta take comfort and peace where we can get it

Get Schumer OUT. He’s spineless and utterly unable, or unwilling, to meet the moment that we’re all in.
Congressional Democrats are livid after a handful of their Senate colleagues voted Sunday to end the government shutdown. Chris Murphy called it a mistake. Bernie Sanders called it “a very bad night.” And Ro Khanna and Seth Moulton accused Chuck Schumer of being ineffective & called for his removal.

Authoritarianism can only succeed when democracy fails to deliver for working people.

Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.

We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

"I am tired of losing and worse, I am tired of expecting to lose. We need Democrats who will use their positions of power not to constantly capitulate, compromise, and cave, but to fight-- not to say the word ‘fight’ because it’s the popular thing to do, but to actually do it and mean it."

None of the Dem Senators (or Democratic-caucusing) who voted yes on the CR are worried about reelection:

• Dick Durbin – IL – Retiring 2026

• Catherine Cortez Masto – NV – Up 2028

• Jacky Rosen – NV – Up 2030

• John Fetterman – PA – Up 2028

• Maggie Hassan – NH – Up 2028

Bernie is absolutely right. Primary tf out of the dems. Replace these establishment “liberals” with progressive candidates. End citizens united, revamp campaign finance.
In addressing whether removing Senator Schumer as leader should be an issue in Democratic primaries, Senator Sanders broadens the focus: "We need to take on the Democratic establishment all over this country."
