Two members of the West Virginia National Guard remained in critical condition in a hospital on Thursday, officials said, a day after they were ambushed just a few blocks from the White House. The father of one of the Guard members said his daughter had a “mortal wound.”

Cowardly 1st term Trump left the withdrawal from Afghanistan for Biden to implement. Lying 2nd term Trump admitted the shooter to this country. Cowardly lyin' Trump.

Sean Duffy thinks he can improve how airlines operate by telling people in a cheesy video that they need to dress better.
"If Duffy actually wanted to make Thanksgiving travel easier, he could have devoted his first year on the job to building up capacity—or at least to not gutting the regulations that force airlines to treat people with minimal decency."

The latest from @nberlat.bsky.social is on point...

BREAKING: as predicted, Republican Skandalakis has moved to dismiss the Fulton County RICO case against Trump et al.
This isn’t good news IMO. When Willis was disqualified from prosecuting fraudulent elector Burt Jones because she hosted a fundraiser for his opponent, Skandalakis took that case for himself and disappeared it. I imagine he’ll do the same here.
BREAKING: Pete Skandalakis, executive director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, has appointed himself to prosecute the case against Trump and others in Fulton County.

The move follows a court ruling that disqualified Fani Willis from pursuing the case.

every single thing hegseth says in public reveals a bottomless pit of insecurity
When you draw a platoon leader like Hegseth, it’s your worst nightmare. You just ride it out until he’s gone and gets replaced by someone who isn’t a complete jackass. Only a fool like Trump would put one of them in charge of the entire defense department.

Donald Trump and Russ Vought already sidelined the financial cop on the beat protecting you from scams.

Now they want CFPB staff to recite a “humility” pledge to kiss up to the big banks.

Donald Trump is not a king. Yet, when Donald Trump tried to dismantle government agencies created by Congress to reduce homelessness, support small businesses, resolve labor disputes, he did exactly that.

I will always protect the important work these agencies do. and uphold the rule of law.
