Hello, new followers! I'm a clinical psychologist who sometimes writes fantasy fiction. My posts reflect my emotional state, which means they're often a jumbled mess, but that's life. Here's something I wrote recently that's not fiction, but which I believe in deeply. akjournals.com/view/journal...

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Please spread this far and wide, as stories don't get much bigger than this. When the government blocks even the intelligence services from telling us we're heading for environmental catastrophe, you know we have a problem. A very big problem.
Thank you.

Amazing cover of this piece of musical history about Hitler. I’m very impressed that this band decided to cover this song for now other reason than to make sure we can all appreciate Irving Berlin’s lyrical talent.

I undid my repost of a photo of the ICE thug shooting Alex Pretti, coupled with a photo of a uniformed Nazi shooting a man in the same way, because no one should have that image thrust upon them involuntarily - but man, it really did make the point.

That NEC decision on Burnham was predictable, but also: cowardly, insecure, factional, long-term counter-strategic and symptomatic of administrative malaise.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Denmark was “irrelevant” and that he was not concerned about Europe pulling out of the US government bond market.

Sadly it is official, my current employment contract finishes at the end of March. It has been a fantastic three years at Migrant Voice. If you, or someone you know, knows of job opportunities for an experienced policy, advocacy and comms person, across multiple sectors, please do let me know.
