All the talk about lost businesses is uptown shows how the people talking about it don't live in my ward. They're sad they can't drop in like tourists and go to the same restaurant every visit. They don't care that I can no longer walk to get my diabetes medications because they don't live here.
because also what businesses have been lost in uptown? all they talk about is restaurants like lagos taco. which sucks, but this is not the same as stevens square losing essential services like a pharmacy, a hardware store, a dollar store, and a thrift store for clothes and home goods in a poor area

If, in your actions, you capitulate to threats of violence, all you do is teach right-wing extremists that they should continue to threaten violence—which will eventually become real—because it helps them win.

I am surprised at how angry and upset I've been since learning the state DFL overturned our city's endorsement. Our voices and votes.
Our votes can and will win anyway. Regardless, DFL, there will be hell to pay.
